MgO refractories are widely used as cores for heating elements, due to their high thermal conductivity and electrical resistance. The magnesium oxide family is formed by a series of ceramic compositions appropriately formulated based on magnesium oxide with different characteristics and electrical properties for the production of heating elements limited to medium and high power.
